[ On the same day after Nui visited Ryuko and Athena's apartment... ]
remember what i said would happen if my past catches up to me? that day has come. i made sure that athena cant stay in our apartment alone so please look after her.
It wouldn't be very gracious of a host to allow a lodger to sleep on the couch. You can have my bed for now, and in the meantime I'll clear out and furnish the spare room.
[More than anyone, Integra was prone to losing her temper, and retreated into her more destructive tendencies while in private. Given the state of her office, that time has already passed. Yet, she is no state to humour Blackquill. Choosing to ignore his comments, she takes out her Cerevice, allowing it to clack against the barren desk. It is open to this announcement.]
I'll explain everything. Please, look over this.
[As she speaks, her voice is devoid of emotion-- and even most of its general character. Beyond its generalised talk of brutality and vampirism, something about this woman appears to have left Integra clearly haunted.]
Alright. Thanks again, and I'm sorry for the trouble!
[ It takes a while for Athena to come knocking on his door since she was out most of the day, and only started packing her things later in the evening. Even though Simon's apartment is close-by, she sure is bringing a lot of things with her. As if she was moving out.
... well, more like she doesn't want to risk everything being stolen in case whoever broke into their apartment came back. ]
[When he answers the door, Simon has a katana at his hip, and he looks more on edge than usual. He's been carrying a blade more frequently since the blizzards, but now with this incident and a few other things, he has more reason than ever to expect danger.
Luckily it's just Athena at the door, and she seems to be fine.]
Is this everything?
[Without asking, he'll start picking up the heaviest of her belongings and shifting them inside.]
Hmph, have a little faith in her. She's a tough one.
[And both of them had a mutual agreement to put Athena's safety first, and so that's what he intends to do. Ryuko is more than capable of fending for herself.]
[He moves over to the desk, leaning over to watch the video post playing on her Cerevice. He frowns as it goes, on, then it stops playing, he looks up at Integra.]
I presume "hunting" is a euphemism for something more sinister. [It may not have been said outright, but the implication, coupled with Integra's reaction, definitely suggests it.] Who is this woman?
