Why did the elephants get kicked out of the public pool?
[ Wrapped in a neat little black box with a white bow, Simon will find a bright rainbow scarf and a rainbow lollipop to go with it.
There's also an envelope labelled "Mr Blackquill" with a glittery Christmas card, and some rainbow glitter. ]

[Later in the evening, whether answering a knock on his door (to find no one there) or returning home from wherever he may be, Simon is going to find a garment box wrapped in festive paper with a bow on it and an envelope taped to the top. The envelope reads "To Mr Simon. Do not open until Christmas!" If he opens it now or later, this is what he will find:
In the envelope is a card! It's a fairly generic happy holidays card, though the outside and inside have stickers added. On the inside of the card are some cute little doodles of cats or snowmen or reindeer and a note:
Merry Christmas Mr. Simon! I don't think I ever thanked you for looking out for all of us at the slumber party, since I was too busy being happy you let Dipper stay! So I'm gonna say that now. Thank you!!! I hope you're having a really good Christmas, and if you're going to the ball I'm gonna find you and thank you in person too!

In the thin garment box is...a stocking? Yes! It's a stocking! It's red with gold trimming and glitter covering it, as well as Simon's name carefully penned in with what looks like glitter fabric paint. Inside this stocking is what you would expect in any stocking. From the toe to the top, it's filled with candy and a variety of smaller items, such as: a thin silver chain necklace with a somewhat clumsily done but very sturdy Chinese knot made from black and white twine hanging on it (that's sort of manly, right?) and a voucher for a well known bakery in the city with a note attached to it that reads "I don't know if you actually like sweets or not, but they have a lot of really nice breads and stuff too, like all of their stuff is REALLY GOOD!!!! And I think bread is something everyone needs in their house, right?? If you do like sweet stuff though, I really think you try their upside down cakes!".
Lining the top are five candy canes, neatly hooked over the edge so they are just peeking out!]

Of course, coming from Archer, this isn't your average set you can get for like 55 bucks on Amazon. They were forged using the seven layer soshu kitae method, more popularized by Masasume. Enjoy that, Simon.
The other package, well...it contains a hawk sized samurai helm and a tiny katana and sheath made to strap to the back of a hawk without getting in the way of its muscles. It's more decorative but Archer will be incredibly impressed if it's actually used.

If you're going to make someone a gift, it should be worthwhile. The swords are handmade by me. Try not to murder anyone with them, thank you. And Merry Christmas.

Tied to the miniature tree's trunk is a yellow ribbon, and a card that reads "Merry Christmas, Simon! -- Athena" hangs from the piece of fabric.
