And what have you learned? Anything of use? Or have you spent most of your time dancing along to CERES' tune?

I have a sworn duty, Sir Integra, and that duty was compromised. I refuse to go on as things are.

Then answer me this: what good ever was your word, if you feel yourself unable to trust me with the slightest hint you wished to rebel? What am I to learn with you sneaking around like this? Perhaps I do not care for CERES, but I am obligated to those under my employee.

The duty I speak of has nothing to do with you, nor the police force, so I saw no reason to tell you.

As for your obligation, save it for those still attached to your lost cause. I am no longer one of them.

Is your pride so valuable to you that you that you are willing to isolate anyone who wishes to rush to your aid? What of this Miss Cykes? She too expressed shock to learn you could have very nearly died but a few months ago when I spoke with her today.

Why would you tell her THAT? What the devil were you trying to accomplish, save for inflicting her with needless worry?

She claimed to be your bodyguard. Certainly that is not a detail one misses.

The silly girl seems to be confused. I don't require a bodyguard.
